Absolutely amazing hotel!!! Something to look at everywhere you turn!!! Really really beautiful!!! Staff were really lovely and very helpful. The outdoor hot tub is amazing and there is a sauna too. Breakfast was lovely and there was loads of variety. Only a 5 minute walk to the local village which was so pretty!! Beautiful views of the sea from the hotel. Bus stop is just a 5 minute walk and it's really easy to get into Reykjavik. Room was beautiful and the hotel is very clean. This hotel is on the pick up point for the Golden circle tour. The bed was really really comfy and we had a really deep bath. The atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing and the food was good! We definitely will be going back to hotel viking!!

I enjoyed my stay here last October. Each room is named after a Norse God or goddess ( I stayed in Freya ). The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice ,I love the tile. The walls in the living area and the loft ( up-stairs ) is covered in pine ( very cool 😊 ). 👍👍👍👍

We stayed one night here in 2023 and it was just what we needed! The sauna was very nice and the beds were very comfortable after flying from the US! We walked to a few things around town and had a nice complimentary breakfast!

Brilliant place. The staff are lovely and the hotel is something else. The setting is pretty cool. From the building itself to how it has been set up inside. The theme carries well. Breakfasts were great. Food was really tasty. Ideal having the hot tub and the sauna there after a day out in the cold .

Great hotel if you're on a budget. The rooms and beds are rather small. The hotel does have its own outdoor hot tub. Ideal location if you have your own transport. It also has its own restaurant on site. If you want to see the Northern lights, visit the blue lagoon, and/or see the geysers and waterfalls. It's all within driving distance. If you don't have transport, there are trips you can book. Some bus companies will pick you up at the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Very small. (American standards is what people say) Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was slow and apologized (we didn't complain) said they were busy (1/4 full max) fancy people seated next to us ordering full bottles of wine were treated very well and fast. Fish and chips was good but a little soggy on the bottom. Another server (blonde) came over and asked if we were ok seeing that our server was busy with the non Americans. Breakfast was included, deli meats, cheese, bread and fruit. Happy it was just the first night. The following 2 weeks were fantastic!

Lovely cottages but the showers are way too small. My husband is 6'2 and could barely move. However, the bathroom floors are heated which was nice. The breakfast was included and had a nice selection. The restaurant was very neat and had a lot to choose from.

I actually loved it here Rooms are a good size, hot water, smelled egggy but that's to be expected. Lovely location easy access to get out to places while avoiding most of the traffic. Breakfast was good, simple but delicious.
